Luciana Susko

Is a painter who works from her studio in France. Driven by an inquiring mind and a true belief that fairy-tales nurture our souls, the artist paints the intricate details of each new painting by hand using fine pastels and acrylics. The folk fairytales of Slovakia inspired her first paintings. Luciana Susko has earned her Master’s Degree in Painting and has studied throughout Europe and USA.

The artist draws her inspiration from a fusion of childhood memories and worldwide travels as well as deep rooted love of nature, animals and children. Her highly original use of pastels and specifically her signature colours cadmium red and cobalt blues and greens mirror her Slavic origin. In her own unique way Luciana Susko infuses her creations with light-hearted and exquisitely romantic themes. She is currently producing work for the children’s book market.
